Project overview

We provided comprehensive media coverage for the USAID Uganda Health Activity, a five-year program supporting the Ministry of Health to strengthen health systems and improve maternal and newborn outcomes. The project showcased interventions across multiple regions, highlighting real-life impact stories.

What we did

Our team filmed and photographed key activities and events across Uganda, capturing both field-level interventions and community stories. We edited the footage into a cohesive narrative to communicate the program’s impact on maternal health, system coordination, and emergency response. The content served advocacy, reporting, and awareness purposes for stakeholders and the public.

Story summary

The film follows real stories of mothers and healthcare workers benefiting from the Local Maternal and Newborn Systems (LMNS) platform. From remote districts to regional referral hospitals, the video shows coordinated emergency responses, life-saving medical interventions, and capacity-building of health workers. Through personal stories and operational highlights, the project demonstrates how USAID Uganda Health Activity contributes to reducing maternal and newborn risks while strengthening Uganda’s health system.
